Crystal Clear Architecture: Monitor Specific Scaling in PREEvision
Drive Precision in Your System Design. Discover How Our New Solution Ensures Seamless Workflows Across Multiple Screens.

You work with complex systems across multiple screens. Blurry interfaces slow down your progress. We changed that. Discover how our collaboration with Yatta brings pixel-precise clarity to PREEvision and builds a future-proof Eclipse platform.
Visual precision drives engineering excellence. When you design complex electrical and electronic systems, you rely on distinct details. However, modern multi monitor setups with varying pixel densities exposed a weakness in the Eclipse Rich Client Platform. Moving a PREEvision window to a secondary display often resulted in a blurry interface. We recognized this bottleneck. The existing software architecture for UI scaling reached its limits. We decided to act.

Driving Innovation in the Open Source Community
We partnered with Yatta to solve this challenge directly within the Eclipse Platform Project. Our goal was clear. We wanted to create a stable, monitor specific scaling solution for Windows without breaking existing applications.
Together, we integrated new capabilities into the core architecture.
- We developed a feature that ensures a sharp display on all connected monitors.
- We replaced outdated embedded browsers with Edge and WebView2.
- We adapted the GEF Classic diagram framework to support pixel-precise rendering.
We committed all improvements to the open source community. We avoided proprietary patches. This approach builds a future-proof foundation for thousands of products relying on Eclipse.

Experiencing the Momentum in PREEvision
What does this integration mean for you? Starting with the February 2026 release of PREEvision 26.0, you experience a flawless, zoom-compliant interface across all your screens. You navigate your system designs with absolute clarity.
"Working with Yatta enabled us to permanently resolve a long-standing technical deficit in the Eclipse platform. The consistent open source approach proved particularly valuable. The new monitor specific UI scaling is stable, backward compatible, and now serves as the standard. Not just for PREEvision, but for the entire Eclipse community."
