10BASE-T1S Interface

The VN5631 is a compact, high-performance network interface designed for Zonal ECU development, enabling efficient engineering, testing, simulation, and analysis of modern automotive and industrial communication systems. It supports CAN/CAN FD, 10BASE-T1S, Automotive Ethernet up to 1 Gbit/s, and standard Ethernet up to 2.5 Gbit/s, making it an all-around interface for mixed-technology environments.

  • Transparent monitoring of 10BASE‑T1S buses and Ethernet networks for analysis and debugging.

 

Media Conversion

  • Seamless media conversion across automotive Ethernet technologies: Bridges 10BASE‑T1S, 100/1000BASE‑T1, and Standard Ethernet, enabling flexible integration of multidrop and point‑to‑point networks.

 

Secure Communication and Power Management

  • Supports MACsec for communication with 802.1AE-secured ECUs, as well as OPEN Alliance TC10 for verification of wake/sleep behavior on both 100/1000BASE‑T1 and 10BASE‑T1S networks.
