VT2828

Signal Switching Matrix Module

The VT2828 signal switching matrix allows signals to be freely interconnected in a matrix with 16 columns and 8 rows.

Signals up to a baud rate of 10 MBaud can be routed through the matrix and interconnected. Each signal path is impedance routed and differentially designed. Signals are e.g. CAN / CAN FD, FleyRay and 10BASE-T1S.

Characteristics

Functions

  • Differential and impedance-guided cable routing
  • Simultaneous switching of the cable pairs
  • Protection against overcurrent via self-resetting fuse (Polyfuse)
  • Display of the active switching nodes via a display in the front panel
