- Free setting of the link configuration (speed, master/slave) as well as automatic detection (auto scan)
- Forwarding of link status changes and OPEN Alliance TC10 symbols (module-dependent) between connected link partners of a TAP (Link Transparency)
- Physical bypass relays between the ports ensure an ECU connection even when the interface is switched off
- MACsec protected Ethernet Frames
- Handling of MACsec secured Ethernet frames according to IEEE 802.1AE directly in the Ethernet PHY*
