VX1000

VX1000 Measurement and Calibration Hardware

The VX1000 system provides high-performance real-time access to ECU-internal data for measurement and calibration. Designed for rugged use in vehicles, it is equally well suited for test benches and laboratory environments. ECU access is established through debug and trace interfaces, ensuring minimal impact on application runtime. Measurement data is transferred to the host PC via XCP over Ethernet. Advanced features such as First Loop DAQ, Flash Overlays, Flash Programming, and Target Debugging help streamline development processes and support efficient, reliable ECU calibration and validation.

Highlights

  • High-performance data access: Measurement and calibration access to ECU internal data at highest data rates.
  • Compact integration: Small-form-factor POD for direct ECU integration.
  • Non-intrusive measurement: Data trace-based acquisition without impact on ECU runtime.
  • Flexible system integration: ECU connection via generic and customized flex adapters

System Overview

Base Module Variants

VX1060

The compact and cost-effective Base Module for a Serial POD.

VX1134/VX1135

The VX1135 is a powerful and versatile Base Module in various variants. It supports Serial, HSSL and HSSL2 PODs. Additional bus interfaces for CAN, CAN FD and FlexRay extend the system. The VX1134 offers the same features and performance without bus interfaces.

VX1161

The Multi Base Module is designed for complex test scenarios and can host up to six independent cards in parallel. In addition to POD interfaces cards for Serial, HSSL and HSSL2 with CAN/CAN FD and FlexRay, video cards are also available.

The Plug-on-Devices (POD)

Serial POD

Serial POD

You attach the Serial POD to the microcontroller’s debug interface and access RAM directly via JTAG, SWD, Zipwire or DAP. Thanks to its compact form factor, it fits perfectly for all use cases and environments, also for the housings of production ECUs. Choose between different cable lengths, optional enclosures and target adapters to suit your system.

HSSL POD

HSSL POD

You use powerful data‑trace interfaces to achieve highest measurement data rates with marginal impact on ECU runtime.

XPOD

XPOD

You acquire data with the VX1622B XPOD as a standalone solution without the need for a Base Module.
